City Court of Lafayette, Louisiana - Fiscal Year Budget


PUBLIC NOTICE

The City Court of Lafayette will hold a public meeting to review the court’s proposed Operating Budget for fiscal year November 1, 2025 through October 31, 2026. This meeting will be held at the City Court of Lafayette, located at 105 E. Convent Street, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70501, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 8:30 AM, in courtroom 3.



This is to certify that the City Court of Lafayette has complied with Louisiana Revised Statute 39:1307 relative to public participation in the budget process for the 11/1/2024-10/31/2025 fiscal year. Notice of availability for public inspection and public hearing was held in compliance with applicable statute. It was advertised in The Daily Advertiser that the budget was available to the public and a public hearing was held on October 9, 2024. Budget was approved and adopted after the public hearing.
